On Hope!

Unlike the other two collections on this website, this one isn’t built upon finished ideas and books… It’s built around a book and ideas that are still becoming.

Welcome to the front porch of hope! None of my books have ever been written alone. My name may appear on the cover, but every one of them carries the fingerprints of countless conversations—with teachers and leaders, friends and family willing to share their stories too.

And now, my goal is to place the 4th book in my PLC Life series – On Hope into the hands of educators sometime in 2029. Between now and then, I’d like your company along the way.

I invite you to become fellow travelers with me in this Hope project. Help me answer questions about hope as you let me know how you experience hope in your professional and personal life. I’ll occasionally invite you to share a story, respond to a question, recommend a book or research study, help me notice something I might otherwise miss.

Why the Hope project? Why now? Simple really. I believe hope brings the trilogy of heart, soul, and joy, into the future. Hope, more than anything is about tomorrow. Decisions and actions we make today for a better future.

And, from experience and research I know that the kaleidoscope of actions surrounding the PLC process and educator wellness will support hope-providing pathways.
